Our Representative Sakamoto Gave a Lecture on "Introduction to Vibe Coding" for Waseda University's "Programming A" Class.

Our representative Sakamoto served as a guest lecturer on the theme of “Introduction to Vibe Coding” for the final session of the “Programming A” course, held on Monday, July 21, 2025, for second-year students in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Fundamental Science and Engineering at Waseda University.

The lecture introduced “Vibe Coding,” a method of generating programs using natural language instructions. In a hands-on exercise using the AI coding tool “Cursor,” students worked on developing applications based on topics of their own choosing. Many powerful and creative applications were developed by the students, making it a valuable opportunity for them to experience firsthand the potential of AI-assisted development.

In conjunction with this lecture, we have expanded the “Introduction to Vibe Coding” tutorial on our programming learning service, “Exercode.” The tutorial now includes new instructions on how to install Cursor and a step-by-step guide to developing a to-do app. The tutorial is available to everyone at the link below. We encourage you to check it out.
